Know exactly what this trip is costing you.
Cash in three currencies, cards that charge you a week later, a room paid half now and half on arrival. Kapunka tracks the messy way travel money actually works — offline, on your phone, no bank login.

Budget apps are built for people who stay home.
They assume one currency, one card, and a bank that shows you the number today. Three weeks into a trip, none of that is true.
The cash disappears
You pulled 4,000 out of an ATM on Tuesday. It's Friday and you have no idea where 900 of it went.
The card lies for a week
The real charge lands days later at a rate you never agreed to, with a fee buried inside it.
Nothing is one payment
Deposit on arrival, half in cash, the rest prepaid online — then you extend two nights. One row can't hold that.
Your whole trip, one swipe per day
Every day shows what you spent, what the trip has cost so far, and how much cash is actually in your pocket. Swipe back to any day and fix what you forgot.
- ✓Live chips for anything still running — insurance, SIM, rental, gym — with days left
- ✓Tonight's stay, tomorrow's check-out and the deposit you're owed, surfaced before you leave
- ✓Accommodation spreads across the nights you slept there, not the day you paid

A wallet and a safe that always add up
Kapunka is the rare tracker that treats physical cash as real. Withdrawals, exchanges, the notes in the room safe and the ones in your pocket are counted separately — in every currency you're carrying.
- ✓ATM withdrawals and street exchanges recorded with their fees, not as spending
- ✓Short at the end of the week? Report it and Kapunka books the gap across those days
- ✓Deposits leave the pool while they're held and come back on check-out
Log it now, confirm the real number later
Pay in pesos with a euro card and the true amount shows up days later. Kapunka estimates it immediately, flags it as unconfirmed, and learns each card's actual rate every time you correct one.
- ✓Per-card diagnostics: what conversion has really cost you, withdrawal count, category split
- ✓Split one bill between cash and card, or between two cards, inside one entry
- ✓Drop in a bank export and Kapunka matches the rows to the expenses you already logged

Tap to pay, then tap once to log it
On Android, Kapunka reads the payment notifications your phone already shows and turns them into ready-to-confirm expenses — amount, currency, merchant and a GPS pin captured quietly in the background.
The notification text itself never leaves your phone. Only the amount, currency and merchant you confirm are ever stored.
€1,049.00 spent at Mercado da Ribeira, Lisbon · card ending 9430. Tap to log it against your trip.
At the end, a trip you can actually look back at
Four months of receipts turn into numbers worth knowing — and a card worth sending to the people who kept asking how it was going.

Story recap
A shareable card sized for stories, built from around forty counters you choose — nights slept, flights taken, rides, coffees, countries. Yours to pick.

Cool places
Pin the rooftop bar, the bakery, the beach nobody was on. Photos, notes and a map you'll still have next time you're in the country.
And the hundred small things a long trip needs
Built by someone on the road, fixing the thing that broke that week.
Reminders that matter abroad
Visa expiry at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 day. Check-out the evening before. Laundry pickup. Tomorrow's bus. The subscription that renews while you're away.
Pro or Lite, your call
Lite hides the wallet, FX rates and unconfirmed charges for card-only travellers. Nothing is deleted — switch to Pro and it's all still there.
Offline airport directory
Log a flight route from the departure gate with no signal. The whole airport list ships inside the app.
Packing checklists
Build a list once, swipe things off before every move. Reusable for the next border run.
Flight playlistAndroid
Point it at a folder of your own music and play it offline with lock-screen controls. No account, no streaming, no data.
Welcome to the country
Cross a border and Kapunka notices — new country, new local currency, ready before your first coffee.
Photos on every expense
Receipts, the dish, the room. Up to three photos and three videos per entry, plus a star rating and who you were feeding.
Backup you control
Your own Google Drive, off by default. Restore or merge onto a new phone, roll back to an earlier version, or export a plain JSON file and keep it yourself.
We never touch your bank
There's no Plaid, no open-banking handshake, no read-only login. Kapunka works from what you type and what your phone already shows you — and it keeps that on the phone.

Detection runs locally. Only the amount, currency and merchant you confirm are saved — and the diagnostic log stays on the phone, always.
No account required to use it
Expenses, wallet, cards, reminders and backups all work signed out. Sign in free when you want insights, checklists and saved places.
Leaving is as easy as arriving

Questions before you download
Is it free?
Yes. Tracking expenses, cash, cards and reminders is free with no account at all. Creating a free account unlocks insights, the story recap, cool places, packing checklists and statement import. There's nothing to pay today.
Do I have to connect my bank?
Never — there's no way to, by design. On Android, Kapunka can read the payment notifications your phone already displays and offer them as expenses to confirm. That happens entirely on the device.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Everything is stored on your phone, exchange rates are cached, and the airport directory is bundled in the app. You only need a connection for map search and refreshing rates.
Is everything on iPhone too?
Almost. Automatic payment detection and the offline flight playlist are Android-only for now; iPhone adds Sign in with Apple and Apple Maps search. Everything else — expenses, cash, cards, insights, recaps, backup — is identical on both.
I'm already three weeks into a trip. Too late?
No. Setup asks for your start date, the cash you're carrying right now, and any withdrawals you remember — then backfills from there. You can also swipe back and add days you missed at any point.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
It stays on your phone, and in your own Drive if you turned backup on. Export it as JSON any time, delete it locally in two taps, or delete the account outright — with 48 hours to undo.
